North American Nickel (“NAN”) is a mineral exploration company lead by an experienced team that strive to ensure shareholder return on investment by acquiring and advancing high quality nickel, copper, cobalt projects. NAN applies technical best practices to rapidly and fully evaluate the economic potential of prospective assets, exceed environmental protection requirements and engage in corporate social responsibility and technology transfers.

NAN’s global strategy is to identify the best Ni-Cu-Co projects and to acquire or invest in opportunities that have high prospectivity and are located in low-risk countries with rule-of-law, supportive foreign investment and resource acts. Our main asset is the Maniitsoq project on the west coast of Greenland. This is being supplemented with the development of new impending acquisitions in Morocco and Botswana. In 2019 NAN expanded its area of exploration interest and became a founding shareholder in Premium Nickel Resources ("PNR") a private Canadian company, to provide direct exposure to Ni-Cu-Co opportunities in the southern African region. PNR has submitted an Indicative Offer to acquire the assets, currently in liquidation, formerly operated by BCL in Botswana. Simultaneous to the investment in PNR the Company is also expanding into Morocco and building a relationship with the Office National des Hydrocarbures et des Mines (“ONHYM”), the leading resource crown corporation and the single largest permit holder in Morocco.

Since 2012 property acquisitions have been focused on the district scale Maniitsoq project opportunity in Greenland and in the world’s best known and most prolific nickel camps in Sudbury, Ontario. The Company has subsequently increased its portfolio of projects in North America by acquiring two additional projects located in Northwestern Ontario.

North American Nickel trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol NAN. The Sentient Group owns 33.67% of North American Nickel and Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. (CATL) owns 20.89%.
